TROUBLESHOOTING

DETONATION CONTROL SYSTEM DOES NOT OPERATE.
Check the warning light and/or
detonation control system indicator light bulb(s).
NO CONTINUITY
OK
Check the load control relay.
OK FAULTY
Check the knock sensor.
OK FAULTY
Check the main switch.
OK NO CONTINUITY
Check for voltage on the smoothing condenser coupler (SXV70SJ).
OK OUT OF SPECIFICATION
Check the stator coil and/or connection.
OK NO CONTINUITY
Check the pick up coil and/or connection.
OK NO CONTINUITY
Correct the connection and/or replace
the rectifier/regulator and/or CDI unit.
DETONATION CONTROL SYSTEM
Replace the bulb(s).
Replace the load control relay.
Replace the knock sensor.
Replace the main switch.
Correct connection and/or replace
the rectifire/regulator.
Replace the A.C. magneto and/or connection.
Replace the A.C. magneto and/or connection.
