2. Install:
•
Battery
CAUTION:
•
Connect the positive lead to the battery termi-
nal first.
•
Make sure the battery leads are connected
properly. Reversing the leads can seriously
damage the electrical system.
•
Make sure that the battery breather hose is
properly connected and is not obstructed.
FUSE INSPECTION (VX700DX/VT700)
The following procedure applies to all of the fuses.
CAUTION:
To avoid a short circuit, always set the main
switch to "OFF" when checking or replacing a
fuse.
1 .Check:
•
Continuity
Checking steps:
•
Connect the pocket tester to the fuse and check
the continuity.
NOTE:
Set the pocket tester selector to "Ω × 1".
Pocket tester:
90890-03112, YU-03112
•
If the pocket tester indicates "∞", replace the fuse.
