Percussives (upper keyboard)
PERC adds a tone with a fast initial attack to the
tab sounds. You can get a sharp sound by com-
bining PERC sounds with other tab sounds.
About feet marks

When an organ type from the PIPE ORGAN
group is selected, the PERC buttons work as
CHIFF buttons. "Chiff" is the characteristic
sound of air being sent to the pipes in a pipe
organ . (Refer to page 39 .)
The feet indication on each tab button (for example 8') refers to the pitch of a rank of pipes in a pipe
organ . If 8

is used as the standard (the pitch as played on the keyboard). a 16' rank pitch wi ll be one
octave below the 8 ' rank pitch , and a. 4 ' rank pitch one octave above .
