Enable or disable the exchange of START/STOP
data (REALTIME COMMANDS) , and select the
CLOCK mode .

1. Use the buttons to the left of the di splay to
select a function (REAL TIME COMMANDS or
CLOCK}.
2. Use the ON and OFF buttons , or the
A
and v
buttons , to change the sett ing .
REAL TIME COMMANDS
ON: Rhythm and SEQUENCER start/stop ,
continue , and song position pointer data
can be transmitted/received.
OFF : This data cannot be trans-
mitted/received .
CLOCK
INTERNAL : Th is instrument's interna l clock is
used to control the performance . The clock
of the connected equipment is disabled .
MIDI : The clock of the connected equipment
is used to control the performance . This
instrument's clock is disabled .
• When MIDI is selected , the tempo is displayed
as "- - - " and the rhythm and SEQUENCER
are disabled until the CLOCK signal is
received from the connected instrument
