Maintaining the Transmission

Checking the Transmission-fluid Level
Service Interval: After the first 50 hours
Every 400 hours
Transmission Fluid Type: Dexron VI
1. Locate the fill plug at the at the lower-inboard area at
the back of the transmission

1. Fill port (transmission)
2. Align a drain pan below the fill plug.
3. Rotate the plug counterclockwise and remove the plug
from the fill port in the transmission
Note: When the transmission fluid level is correct, the
fluid should be level with the bottom of the threads
in the fill port.
4. If the transmission-fluid level is low, add transmission
fluid of the specified type into the transmission through
the fill port until the fluid level is flush with the bottom
of the threads in the port
Note: Use a funnel with a flexible hose when filling
the transmission.
5. Check the condition of the O-ring at the fill plug.
Note: Replace the O-ring if it is warn or damaged.
6. Install the fill plug into the transmission and tighten
it hand tight

Changing the Transmission Fluid
Transmission Fluid Type: Dexron VI
Transmission Fluid Capacity: 700 ml (23.7 oz)
1. Move the machine to a level surface.
2. Locate the fill plug at the back inboard area of the
transmission case and the locate the drain plug at the
front outboard side of the transmission

3. Remove the fill plug from the fill port by rotating
the plug counterclockwise and removing it from the
transmission
