D. Controlling the Laser Scanner Motor
1. Operation
The laser scanner motor rotates in response to the instructions from the DC controller PCB, and its sup-
ply power is controlled by the scanner driver PCB.
The laser scanner motor(M3) rotates when the laser scanner motor drive signal (LMD=1) is sent by the
DC controller PCB to the scanner driver PCB. At this time, the hall IC output signal returns from M3 for
controlling the supply power used to rotate M3.
The power supply timing is controlled so as to respect the phase of the rotation reference pulses (FS)
from the DC controller PCB, thereby ensuring a specific rotation speed.
