REPLACEMENT OF
PARTS
25. Hydraulic Bla<:k
~
Ensure
the
appl ia~
has
been
fully
drained.
~
Disconnect the electrical connections to the
pump.
~
Undo
the nuts securing
the
copper
water
pipes
to
th~
manifold
(thef~
is
no nee-d
to
remove the gas
pipe-)
.
~
Release
the spring
clips
securing
these
water
pipes
to
the
plastic
housing
and
remove
the
pipes.
~
Release
the
spring clip secul'ing
thE)
expansion vessel
pipe to
the
plastic
housing
and
remove
the
pipet
~
Undo
the
nut
securing
the pressure gauge
to
Its
bracket
and
remove
the
gauge.
•
Release
tha k:lck1ng
devices
that
SCK:ure the
two copper
water
pipes
leading
to
the
combustion chamber
by
squMZJng
the two
tabs
together
and
rotating
antidockwise
M
ewed
from
above~
~
Remove the rubber
pipe
connecting the
sump and
remove
the syphon. NOTE.: this
is
not essential
but
make$
the
removal
or
the
block
easier .

Undo
the two sctews
secufif\g the
hydraulic
block
to the chassis (located
top
left
/
top
right of the ho<rsing)
25.2
Lift the left
hand
side
of
the
block
slightly,
then
manoeuvre
the
block
out,
starting
with
the
right
hand
side
~
Take
care not to snag the
hasness
or
pressure gauge
bracket
NOTE:
the
block
w
ill
still
contain
a
small amoont
ot
wa~(,
which
will spill
if
the b&od<
is
tilted
.
•
To
refit,
follow the
above
in
reverse.
Ensure
any
seals
that
have been disturbed are
rene'o\-ed.

block

boiler
