CAUTION: Before replacing any electrical component, pull the plug to the range, or disconnect the electrical power
to the range at the main fuse or circuit breaker panel. Be sure parts are cool to touch before replacing.
Wire cover holder.
Grasp both ends of the bulb with
the thumb and forefinger.
Rotate the bulb one quarter turn
and pull out.
Oven Light Replacement
Be sure to let the light cover and bulb
cool completely.
To remove the cover:
I
Hold a hand under the cover so it
doesn't fall when released. With
fingers of the same hand, firmly
push back the wire cover holder.
Lift off the cover.
Do not remove any screws to remove
the cover.
I
Replace bulb with a 40-watt
appliance bulb.
Fluorescent Light
When changing a fluorescent light, do not touch
the metal at the ends of the light.
The
light is easily replaced with a
fluorescent tube of the same wattage.
Before changing the fluorescent lamp,
pull the plug to the range, or disconnect
the power at the household circuit
breaker panel.
To remove the fluorescent light:
I
Lift up the lamp cover.
I
Grasp both ends of the bulb with the
thumb and forefinger. Rotate the
bulb one quarter turn and pull out.
I
Connect electrical power to
the range.
To replace, reverse the above steps.
Fuse Replacement
Caution: Before replacing any electrical
component, disconnect electric power
to the stove at the main fuse or circuit
breaker panel. Be sure parts are cool to
touch before replacing.
To Replace Fuses
The fuses on your stove are located under
the fuse cover. Grasp both ends of the
cover at the front bottom edge. Pull edge
forward slightly and lift up.
Caution: When replacing fuses, use only the
amperage as indicated on the backguard.
Do not use higher amperage fuses
than specified.
To replace the cover:
I
Place it into groove of the light
receptacle. Pull wire forward to
the center of the cover until it
snaps into place.
I
Connect electrical power to
the range.
