5.20.3 snmp-server location

The snmp-server location global configuration command sets up information on where the device is located. To remove the
location string use, the no form of this command.
Syntax
snmp-server location text
no snmp-server location
text — Character string, up to 160 characters, describing the system location.
Default Configuration
This command has no default configuration.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
Do not include spaces in the text string.
Example
The following example sets the device location as "New_York".
Console (config)# snmp-server location New_York

5.20.4 snmp-server enable traps

The snmp-server enable traps global configuration command enables the switch to send SNMP traps. To disable SNMP traps
use the no form of the command.
Syntax
snmp-server enable traps
no snmp-server enable traps
