Accept on Busy

The switch can be configured to accept calls offered from the network for busy extensions or
groups or to reject those calls. Here the user can choose to set the general case as "Accept" or
"Reject" on busy. If "Individual MSN" is selected all the programmed DDI numbers are
listed here with their Index number . To program a specific DID as "Reject on Busy" just
select the diamond beside the number required. If the diamond is open then this number is
"Accept on Busy".
The default is that calls are accepted and Call waiting is offered to the extension.
To program Accept on Busy:
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "Accept on Busy" is displayed.
Select the "Access on Busy" or "Reject on Busy" option
If DID numbers are programmed you can select "Individual DID" option to make them Accept or
Reject individually. (Select SIP only if you have SIP DID lines equipped).
Select "Exit".
Note: This feature is active only when the Mitel 3000 is equipped with VoIP trunks and/or E1 PRI Access.
LINE PROGRAMMING CHANGES WHEN A T1/E1
MODULE IS EQUIPPED
When a T1 module is equipped the following "Line Programming" options are modified. The change is
dependent on whether the interface is programmed as a T1(RBS) or T1/E1 Primary Rate ISDN interface.

EQUIPPED LINES

Equipped Lines programming when Trunk Type T1 is programmed

From the Programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until "System Programming" is displayed.
Select "System Programming".
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
Select "Equipped Lines" option.
Lines 1- 24 are the T1 lines. These are always presented when a T1 module is installed and the Trunk
type is set as T1.
If one CO line module is installed then lines 25 and 26 are shown.
If two CO line modules are installed then lines 25 - 28 are shown.
If IP trunks are installed, these will also be shown as IP Trunk 1, IP trunk 2 etc...
The lines with a solid diamond are available; those with an open diamond are not equipped.
In default all 24 T1 lines are programmed as equipped.
The line numbers correspond to the T1 channels.
