Appendix C. Monitoring 3rd Party AP

Configure Monitoring 3 Party AP, go to: Network >> Monitor IP.

If you are using 3 party AP, you can use Monitor IP function to monitor the AP connection status.
Because AMG-2100/AMG-2101 can not manage these APs, Monitor IP is a better way to monitor the AP
connection status.
AMG-2100/AMG-2101 will send out a packet periodically to monitor the connection status of the IP
addresses on the list. If the monitored IP address does not respond, the system will send an e-mail to
notify the administrator that such destination is not reachable. After entering the necessary information,
click Apply to save the settings.
Click Monitor Now to check the current status of all the monitored IP. The system supports monitoring
on IP addresses listed in the "Monitor IP List".
