Warning system

If an error is detected immediately after the camera is turned on or during operation, the viewfinder, LCD monitor, and tally lamp indicate the error. Deal
with the error by following the indications.

Description
An error occurred in the camera built-in memory
because the P2 card being accessed was ejected.
f Tally lamp flashes four times per second.
System mode error occurred.

Camera unit error occurred.

Codec control error occurred.
f Tally lamp flashes four times per second.
P2 system error occurred.

Description
CPS authentication of microP2 memory card has failed.
The microP2 memory card whose CPS authentication
failed cannot be recorded or played back.
Displays any reduced voltage detected on the backup
battery in the internal clock when the power is turned
on.
Displayed when the internal clock setting is reset.
Displayed when an data error caused by the P2 card
occurs during recording.
Displayed after recording stops until the next operation.
Also displayed for three seconds during playback when
a P2 card error causes playback to stop.
f If the error occurs during recording, the tally lamp
flashes four times per second for approx. three
seconds after recording stops.
f The tally lamp does not flash when an error occurs
during playback.
The directory position is not correct.
Displayed when the fan motor stops.
The temperature inside the camera is higher than that of
the normal conditions.
Playback is interrupted on the SDHC/SDXC memory
card. A card whose playback performance cannot be
assured is inserted.

card, and restore the clips as necessary.
