Major Operating Controls and Their Functions

(1) External input connector [EXT IN]
Use to connect the extension unit and the network disk
recorder with the connection cable provided.
(2) Signal GND terminal [SIGNAL GND]
Use as a ground when the extension unit's signal GND
terminal is connected to the signal GND terminal of another
device on the system. Oscillation, static, or other noise
related problems may occur if a ground is not connected.
(3) Power cord Inlet [AC IN]
Connect the provided power cord here. The power plug is a
two prong plug with a ground terminal.
(4) Power switch [POWER]
Turns the power on. Press it again to turn the power off and
end operations.
(5) Handle for maintenance
Loosen the 5 screws indicated by the triangles and grip these
tabs to pull off the panel when replacing the fan or doing
other maintenance work.
(6) Cable clamp fixing holes
Attach the cable clamp to fasten the connection cable in
place. (page 13)

Using the Brace

Secure the power cord with the brace.

Lock the power cord in place by lifting and latching the
brace.
