To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Optical drive cage

To remove the component:
CAUTION:
all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
Power down the server (on page 26).
1.
Extend the server from the rack (on page 25).

Remove the access panel
3.
Disconnect the cables from the optical drive.
4.
Remove the optical drive cage.
5.
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless
("Access panel" on page 30).
