5. Carburetor heater
• Remove the carburetor heater from the
carburetor.
• Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) to the
carburetor heater.
Tester (+) lead →
Carburetor heater terminal 1
Tester (–) lead →
Carburetor heater body 2
• Measure the carburetor heater resistance.
Carburetor heater resistance
6 ~ 12 Ω at 20 °C (68 °F)
6. Wiring connection
• Check the connections on the entire car-
buretor heating system.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM".
This circuit is not faulty.
