Installation

Out of Range Warning

If the handset is carried to far from the base station during a call, the
sound quality will deteriorate and a warning tone will be heard. Unless
the handset is moved closer to the base station within a few seconds
the call will be disconnected.

HEADSET

The handset can be used with an optional headset and is equipped with
a socket for this. Headsets are available as an extra accessory and can
be purchased from your local retailer.
Then using the optional headset there is not change in the way a call is
received or made. When a headset is connected the handset
microphone and earpiece will be automatically disabled.
PLEASE NOTE!
The volume may be high on the headset earpiece. Adjust the setting immediately when
you connect a headset.

HANDSET INDICATOR

The indicator light above the LCD display will flash during the ringing
for an incoming call.

BASE UNIT INDICATORS

There are several indicator lights located on the base station and will
function differently depending on the function that is occurring. The
Power/Status light will be solid when the unit is in an operational state
and flashing while the unit is booting up and obtaining its settings from
the VoIP provider. The VoIP light will be solid while making a call
through the VoIP service and will be flashing while making a PSTN call
and finally the WAN light will be solid when you have a connection to
your Router/Gateway and then flash when transmitting data.
