Before You Begin

The DPH-C160S is a DECT Cordless VoIP Phone that allows you make telephone calls over the

Internet using VoIP technology. It does not provide a connection to the Internet or to other
computers − you must have a modem or router that has multiple Ethernet ports (or is connected to
a switch or hub that provides multiple Ethernet ports) and a valid Internet account to use this device.
The DPH-C160S will need to be connected directly to a switch or router via an Ethernet port. An IP

address is assigned to the DPH-C160S via your DHCP Server, if you do not have a DHCP Server a static
IP will be configured onto the DPH-C160S by default. Once this is completed you will be able to configure
or modify its configuration from any PC on your LAN.
