Set the product in one of the standalone modes to control without a DMX controller.

Connect the product to a suitable power outlet.
Never connect a product that is operating in any standalone mode (Static, Automatic, or
Sound-Active) to a DMX string connected to a DMX controller. Products in standalone
mode may transmit DMX signals that could interfere with the DMX signals from the
controller.
To enable the Sound-Active mode and set sound sensitivity, do the following:
Press <MENU> repeatedly until SU-0—SU-8 (Sound-Active modes 1—8) shows on

the display.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select the desired Sound-Active mode.

Press <ENTER>.
3.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select S-00—S-99 (sound sensitivity).
4.
Press <ENTER>.
5.
The product will only respond to low frequencies of music (bass and drums).
To enable the Automatic mode, follow the instructions below:
Press <MENU> repeatedly until AUtO shows on the display.

Press <ENTER>.

To set the automatic program brightness and strobe speed, do the following:
Press <MENU> repeatedly until C000—C255 (auto program brightness) shows on

the display.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select the desired brightness.

Press <ENTER>.
3.
User <UP> or <DOWN> to select FS 0—FS 9 (auto program strobe speed).
4.
Press <ENTER>.
5.
To view the temperature of the LEDs, follow the instructions below:
Press <MENU> repeatedly until tEMP shows on the display.

Press <ENTER> and the temperature will be shown in degrees Celsius.
2.
You are able to flip the LED display for easy readability in any mounting situation.
To select your display angle:
Press <MENU> repeatedly until diS (normal) or rdiS (inverted) shows on the

display.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to select the desired orientation.

Press <ENTER>.
3.
To load the factory default settings in the MegaStrobe™ FX12, follow the instructions
below:
Press <MENU> and until LoAd shows on the display.
