A. Mantel and Wall Projections
WARNING! Risk of Fire! Comply with all minimum clear-
ances as specifi ed. Framing closer than the minimums list-
ed must be constructed entirely of non-combustible materi-
als (i.e., steel studs, concrete board, etc.).
Figure 13.1 shows the minimum vertical and correspond-
ing maximum horizontal dimensions of appliance mantels
or other combustible projections above the top front edge of
the appliance.
