7. Press the button on the destination device (example: light
switch). The screen will change to BUTTON SOU.
8. Press the button on the source device (example: motion sensor).
The screen will briefly display SUCCESS and then the remote will
go back to the main association menu.
REPLICATION
CREATE SECONDARY CONTROLLER
You can add a secondary remote to your network, and copy your
primary remote's device and network information to it. This pro-
cess is also used to update secondary controllers if changes to the
network are made with the primary.
Primary
To Send Information to a Secondary Remote:
1. Place the two remotes near each other.
2. Enter SETUP and select TRANSFER.
3. Press OK. The screen will display PRIMARY.
4. Use either arrow key to select SECONDARY.
5. Press OK. The Screen will display SENDING.
6. Refer to the user manual for the secondary remote for pro-
gramming information. See the following section on "Copying
Network/Device Information" if the target remote is a GE 45633
remote. Put the target (secondary) remote into programming
mode so that it communicates with the primary remote and
receives the network data. The primary remote then copies the
network and device information to the new secondary remote.
7. When screen displays SUCCESS you have successfully trans-
ferred the information.
NOTE: When the remote is transferred, the receiving remote
should be reset first before conducting the transfer operation.
Copying Information to this Remote (including remote into
existing network)
1. Place the two remotes near each other.
2. Refer to the user manual for the primary remote for program-
ming information. Put the primary remote into programming
mode so that it sends information to the secondary remote. If
the primary remote is a 45633 LCD Remote, refer to the section
above on Sending Network Information.
3. On the target 45633, enter SETUP and select TRANSFER.
