Set Up Checklist

• Read all General Maintenance Instruction, starting on page 42
• Apply power to run as described in the Modes of Operation section on page 9

Unpacking

You will notice that the packaging for the E
94 differs form previous MTH packaging.
That is because your E94 is delivered attached
to a display stand that allow you to operate the
engine in a static display with out the need for

The display stand incorporates wire and contacts that allow you to apply power to
operate the lights, the sounds and even in the motors, just as if it was on rails.
To unpack your E 94 Crocodile; place the packaging on a flat and secure surfaces such
as a table top or a work bench. The top and bottom of the gift box is secured with a
reusable clear sealing disc. Just peel away the discs from the top section of the box at
each end, and then remove the gift box top. You will see there are straps around the
polyfoam container. They are fastened with Velcro and are easily separated. When the
Velcro straps are undone you can lift of the poly foam cover. You now will see the
engine and the display. The engine is attached to the display stand with screws form the
underside. Lift he entire assembly from the box bottom. If you wish to operate the
engine on the display stand just connect he wires to power and the engine will operate
will all of the DCS, DCC or Conventional Features as if was on the track.
Please remember that if you plan to operate you engine on the display stand for any
length of time, you will need to lubricate all of the moving parts.
