The 'DEMOD | Tuner-1' page (Figure 6-9) permits the user to configure CDM-740
demodulator operations. Note that, for any configuration item requiring text entry, a reference to
the operational ranges for that field is provided to the right of that text box.
LNB Freq (MHz)
Enter the operating frequency, in MHz, for the Low-Noise Block Downcoverter. The valid range
is from 0 – 16000 MHz.
Rx Freq (MHz)
Enter the modem's Rx frequency, in MHz. The valid range is from 950 – 2150 MHz.
Symbol Rate (ksps)
Enter the modem's symbol rate, in ksps. The valid range is from 1000 – 62000 ksps.
Data Rate (kbps) read-only
This is a status-only section that displays the current data rate, in kbps, as derived from the selected
MODCOD parameter.
MODCOD
Use the dropdown menu to select the Demodulation type and FEC rate (MODCOD).
