Description
This setting enables or disables detection of the leading and trailing edges of the media. It is normally set to "ENABLE."
When transparent media is loaded, set it to "DISABLE."
When [EDGE DETECTION] is set to "DISABLE," printing operation does not stop when the media runs out. If media
runs out while printing is in progress, immediately press
platen or the like may become soiled by ink or that ink may get inside and damage the machine.

Description
You use this when ink dries poorly even when the media heating system is used. Larger values produce progressively
slower movement of the media, enabling you to extend the drying time accordingly. Printing time takes correspond-
ingly longer.
You can also make this setting on the computer. When you have made the setting on the computer, the computer's
setting is used and the printer's setting is ignored.
