OSD operation without signal input from computer

Without a signal input from the computer, normally a display goes into energy saving mode and cannot show the OSD menu.
MD302C6 can exit the energy saving mode temporarily and shows the OSD menu in the normal operation mode. Therefore
it is possible to change settings in the OSD or perform a DICOM conformance test without changing the computer's power
management settings.
Follow the procedures below to show the OSD menus.
Displaying the OSD main menu
1. While the display is in energy saving mode (the LED indicator is orange), press and hold MENU for 2 seconds.
2. The LED indicator next to the power switch turns to green, the display is turned on and is temporarily in the normal operation
mode for up to 3 hours. At the same time, the OSD main menu appears.
3. The OSD operation without signal input from computer allows the following operations and a DICOM conformance test.
If "Reference Menu" was selected as the OSD main menu, the items listed below DICOM CONFORMANCE TEST are not
shown. To perform one of these operations, switch the OSD main menu to "Full Menu".
• DICOM conformance test (see "Performing a DICOM conformance test" on page 19).
• Switching EDID (see "Switching between different EDID content" on page 21).
• Switching confi guration (see "Changing confi gurations" on page 23).
• Switching input source (see "Automatic input source detection" on page 24).
• Direct OSD setting menu (see "Direct OSD setting menu" on page 25).
• Menu selection (see "Switching the OSD menu" on page 21).
NOTE:
The display being turned on to the normal operation mode by the operation above is only temporary.
This mode is left after any of the following conditions are met:
1. 3 hours have passed.
2. The display power has been turned off.
3. A DICOM conformance test has been performed.
