Problem description: During re-positioning, the Error Led lights up.
Cause: 1. The measurement lamp is faulty.
2. The cover is installed instead of the aperture.
Remedy: 1. Observe if the lamp lights at the measurement start up.
If not, replace the lamp following the instructions described
on Chapter 5.4.3.4.
2. Insert an aperture and repeat the positioning operation.
Problem description: Spectrolino does not position onto the measurement
aperture.
Cause: Mechanical problem.
Remedy: Send the instrument and related apertures to a
GretagMacbeth Service Centre.
- If the above measures are unable to restore normal operating conditions,
it is necessary to contact your local GretagMacbeth support service
immediately. Do not attempt to dismantle or repair the device.
