5.4.2.3 Aperture substitution

By slightly raising the measurement lamp (figure 1) the measurement aperture is
ejected. Grasp the aperture end, extracting it with care (figure 2). Now insert the
desired the new aperture and press it with both thumbs to fit in position (figure 3).

After any aperture replacement, it is necessary to perform a re-positioning operation.
To do this, press and hold the
position. After about 20 seconds the re-positioning operation is completed and the
instrument turns back to the waiting position.
- Do not touch the aperture surface with fingers, to prevent it from
getting dirty.
- To clean the measurement apertures use a soft cloth dampened with
alcohol to avoid scratching the aperture surface.
