PROCEDURE
NOTE: See Figure F.18.
1. Disconnect input power to the
machine.
2. Perform
the
DISCHARGE PROCEDURE.
3. Disconnect and remove the
torch cable assembly from the
bulkhead compartment.
a. Locate
the
access door on the Right
Case Side Assembly of the
machine.
b. Remove the one sheet metal
c. Test for a voltage across the
CAPACITOR
torch
cable
screw on the left-hand side
of the access door and
swing open the door.
stud marked WORK and the
bulkhead connector (brass
fitting).
NO voltage should
be present.
If a voltage is
present,
STOP.
Perform
Capacitor Discharge Test
again. If no voltage is
present,
continue
procedure.
