Transmitted light,

Bright
field is suitable
for
examining translucent objects featur-
ing
contrasting structures.
The
object
is
di
rect
ly
illum inated
from be low and is see
n
in
its
natural
colo rs against
a
bright
background
.

field offers

re information for objects poor in cont rast

poorly
marked

mirror
features a clear and an obscured side and
can be rotated and moved.

illumination

The angle of

transmitted
light
bright field via oblique
illumination

generate
an illumination similar to
dark
field.
