SAFETY INSTALLATION INFORMATION
THE CSW200UL8™ IS FOR USE ON VEHICULAR PASSAGE GATES ONLY AND NOT INTENDED FOR USE ON
PEDESTRIAN PASSAGE GATES.
Property owners MUST never mount any gate operating device
near the gate's path!
Property owners MUST never allow anyone to hang or ride on the
gate!
WARNING PLACARD PLACEMENT
To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a moving gate:
• Entrapment protection devices MUST be installed to protect
anyone who may come near a moving gate.
• Locate entrapment protection devices to protect in BOTH the
open and close gate cycles.
• Locate entrapment protection devices to protect between
moving gate and RIGID objects, such as posts.
• A swinging gate shall NOT open into public access ways.
Property owners MUST never let pedestrians cross the path of a
moving gate!
To prevent SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH from a moving gate:
Install warning placards on BOTH sides of EACH gate in PLAIN
VIEW.
