Field Coil
1. Check the continuity across the lead (1) and brush (2) with an
ohmmeter.
2. If it dose not conduct, replace the yoke assembly.
3. Check the continuity across the brush (2) and yoke (3) with an
ohmmeter.
4. If it conducts, replace the yoke assembly.
(1) Lead
(2) Bush
Armature Coil
1. Check the continuity across the commutator and armature coil
core with an ohmmeter.
2. If it conducts, replace the armature.
3. Check the continuity across the segments of the commutator with
an ohmmeter.
4. If it dose not conduct, replace the armature.
