Use the Advanced Configuration page to further configure up to seven VLANs with IP interfaces, for a
total of eight including the Management VLAN. The additional VLAN interfaces may be used for
connecting the servers in non-native subnets for consolidated management.
To display the Advanced Configuration page, click VLANs > Advanced Configuration in the navigation
pane.

Description
Select the VLAN to configure.
For a port or trunk to participate in a VLAN, its tagging policy must be defined. By default,
all ports and trunks are configured as untagged members of VLAN1, and are excluded
from all other newly created VLANs.
You can configure each port individually or use the
configure all ports at once. Click the box until the appropriate option is displayed:
• A grayed out box indicates the port is either configured as a member of a trunk or

identifying the tagging policy, or by excluding the port from the VLAN.
A port can have only one untagged VLAN membership. If a port is already an untagged VLAN
member in a VLAN and another new VLAN is selected for untagged membership, then the port
will be excluded from the previously untagged VLAN.
If a port's untagged VLAN membership is the same as Management VLAN, the port can not be
selected as a management port because changing its untagged VLAN membership can interrupt
management access.
If Management Port is not configured, then changing the untagged VLAN membership of any
port whose current untagged VLAN membership is the same as Management VLAN can
interrupt management access.

port can have only one untagged VLAN membership. If a port is an untagged member
