Getting Started Do the following: Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control. Insert the batteries with the correct polarity. Replace the battery cover. Dispose of waste batteries properly. Note Remove the batteries if they are not in use for a long period of time. If your video conferencing room is large, you can add an extra CPE80 expansion microphone to the MIC port on the VCP40 phone to expand the audio range of the conference phone.
