4.4 Setting your NBG-418N v2 to Universal Repeater Mode

Connect your computer to the LAN port of the NBG-418N v2.

The default LAN IP address of the NBG-418N v2 is 192.168.1.1 in router mode and 192.168.1.2 by

default in non-router mode.
After you've set your computer's IP address, open a web browser such as Internet Explorer and

type the IP address of the NBG-418N v2 as the web address in your web browser.
Log into the Web Configurator. See the

Go to Maintenance > Sys OP Mode > General and select Universal Repeater.

A pop-up window appears providing information on this mode. Click OK in the pop-up message

window. Click Apply. Your NBG-418N v2 is now in Universal Repeater mode.
Note: Wait while the NBG-418N v2 restarts, then log in to the Web Configurator again.

View Log Use this screen to view the logs for the categories that you selected.
Firmware Use this screen to upload firmware to your NBG-418N v2.
Configuration Use this screen to backup and restore the configuration or reset the
factory defaults to your NBG-418N v2.
Restart This screen allows you to reboot the NBG-418N v2 without turning the
power off.
General This screen allows you to select the device operating mode: Router,
Access Point, Universal Repeater or Client Bridge.
Language This screen allows you to select the language you prefer.
