1 ABOUT THE TELEPHONE ROUTER
1.1 Introduction
The TITAN Telephone Router module is a multiport IVR (interactive voice response) device
that allows messages to be dispatched in one of a variety of messaging protocols. Users call
into the Telephone Router module via a telephone handset and follow voice prompts in
order to initiate numeric paging messages, alphanumeric common messages or voice
paging.
The methods of message dispatch can vary from a local voice and data paging transmitter,
an RS‐232 based messaging protocol and a LAN connection.
