Open threaded vent plug (5) of contaminat‐
ed filter.

Unlock drain valve (6) by pressing toggle
and open it.
4.
Drain water and contaminants from the fil‐
ter.

Close drain valve (6).

Remove screws securing the cover and
take off cover (2).
7.
Remove spring housing (4) and filter ele‐
ment (3).
8.
Insert new filter element (3) and spring
housing (4).
9.
Fill filter housing with clean fuel.
10.
Place new seal in cover (2).
11.
Fit cover with gasket and secure it with
screws.
12.
Cut in the cut-out filter again.
13.
Close threaded vent plug (5) when fuel
emerges.
14.
Set adjustable pointer of differential pres‐
sure gauge (→ Page 197).
