PROGRAMMING THE DOSES FOR ESPRESSO
COFFEE AND FOR HOT WATER
ONLY FOR AUTOMATIC MODELS
Entering the programming mode
Turn the main switch 30 to position "zero" (machine switched off).
Holding the key 33 of the first unit pressed, turn the main switch 30 to position 2 (machine switched on). After a few seconds,
release the button 33. At this point, the led corresponding to the button just released will flash and the corresponding leds for
the other units will also flash at the same time. In these conditions, the machine is in the programming phase.
Programming
Program the six doses of the first unit as follows:
Collect from the grinder-metering unit the quantity of coffee corresponding to the dose for the single coffee.
Insert the filter cup on the first unit and position the cup under the cup spout.
Press the first button at upper left 34 corresponding to the strong coffee.
Stop the flow when the desired quantity is reached by pushing the manual button 33.
Proceed in the same manner for calibrating the normal and weak coffees corresponding to the two underlying buttons 35 and 36.
To calibrate the three double doses, corresponding to the three buttons on the left side of the button strip 37, 38 and 39, proceed
as above, using the cup with spout and filter support for the double dose.
After having calibrated the six doses of the 1st unit, to program the other units it is sufficient to press the relative manual
button 33. After the impulse, the corresponding led will switch from flashing light to steady light. With this simple operation,
what was programmed on the first unit is transferred to the other units.
When the operation of copying the 2nd, 3rd and 4th unit is completed, only the led of the manual button 33 of the 1st unit will
flash while the corresponding ones of the other units will be with a steady light.
Note: it is also possible to program the units after the first unit with different doses by repeating the same operations already
carried out on the first unit.
The programming of the hot water amounts can now be programmed as follows:
Position a teapot for a single dose under the hot water tap 61 and press the button marked with the small teapot 41.
When the water reaches the desired amount, press the manual serving button 40 to stop the flow.
Proceed in the same manner for the second dose.
Leaving the programming mode
After having programmed the six doses of coffee for each unit and the two doses of hot water, press the manual button with the
flashing led 33 of the first unit.
After this impulse, all the leds of the manual buttons of all the units will go off and the machine is ready for operation.
