READ/WRITE SETTINGS
Use Read from device and Write to device to read the current settings on the device, or
write the newly changed settings to the device in order for them to take effect. See
Menu for when to use these options.
When Button Assignment application is launched, tapping Read from device will get the
settings currently active on the device, which may be either default settings, a saved profile,
or settings previously written to the device. Regardless of where the active settings derive
from, they will be presented as "Device Setting" as denoted at the top of the page.
When a new profile is created and saved, the
profile name will appear at the top left of the
page.
RESET TO DEFAULT
Tapping Reset to default in the option menu will display default settings. This can be
followed by the steps below.
To apply default settings to the mobile computer, tap Write to device in the option
menu.
To create a new profile from default settings, make changes directly and tap the save
button .

After the profile is "written to the device", the
profile name will be replaced with "Device
Setting" the next time the application is
opened, or when Read from device is
tapped.
