CVD Dogbone/Axle to Rear Hub

1. Slide the CVD Axle (113D) through the 3/16" x 3/8" Bearing
(116) from the backside of the Hub Carrier (23) until the shoulder of
the Axle stops at the Bearing. Slide the Axle Washer (90) over the Axle
up against the outside Bearing. Secure the Axle and Washer with a 1/
16" x 5/16" (roll) Pin (113F) through the cross hole in the Axle. The Pin
should be centered in the Axle. Repeat for the right rear Hub Carrier
(24) assembly.

1. Attach the left rear Hub Carrier (23) assembly to the left rear
Arm (11) by aligning the holes in the rear Hub Carrier (23) with the
holes in the rear Arm. Insert a 1/8" x 1.350" Hinge Pin (88) through the
Arm the two 0.060 rear Hub Spacers (13) and into the Hub Carrier as
indicated in Figure 57.

2. Secure the Hinge Pin by placing an E-Clip (115) on each side of
the Hinge Pin.

3. Repeat Steps 1-2 for the remaining right rear Arm (12) and right
rear Hub Carrier (24) assembly.

1. Thread a plastic Rod End (4) onto each end of a 1.375" Tita-
nium Turnbuckle (141). Tighten both Rod Ends equally until the Tierod
is the same length as the one in Figure 58B. Make two of these assem-
blies.
The two ends of the Turnbuckle are threaded opposite. The end
closest to the groove, next to the square, has standard right-hand
threads, the other end has left-hand threads. This allows the length
of the Tierods, once installed, to be adjusted without removing them.
