Clutch
The

a
master
and
slave
cyhnder
The
clutch
comprises
a
steel
cover
which
IS
bolted
and
dowelled
to
the
rear
face of
the
flywheel
and contains the
pressure
plate and clutch diSC
or
driven
plate
The
pressure
plate and dIaphragm
spring
or
pressure plate
release levers
and spnngs
are
all attached
to
the clutch
assembly
cover
The clutch
dISC
IS
free
to
shde
along
the
splmed
gearbox
Input shaft
and
IS
held
In
poSItion betWeen
the
flywheel
and
pressure
plate by
the pressure of the dl
phragm
spring
or mne
coli springs
Friction hnlOg material

Remove the rubber dust cap from the
bleed nIpple

the
slave
cylinder

a
SUitable spanner open the bleed
mpple
approximately
three
quarters
of
a turn

one
end of the tube
over
the
nIpple
and
msert
the other
end

the Jaf
so
that the tuoo
onflce

below
the
level of the
flUId

The assIstant should
now
depress
the
pedal and hold
It
down
at
the
end
of
ItS
stroke Close the bleed
screw
and allow the
pedal
to return to Its
normal
