all moving parts with

S1 Windscreen wiper motor removal and
replacement
For safety
reasons
disconnect the battery
2 Undo and
remove
the
screws
that
secure
the plenum
cover to
the body
3 Remove the stop nng that
connects
the wiper
motor
control
arm to
the connectmg rod

Workmg
under the Instrument
panel disconnect the wiper
motor to Instrument
panel harness terminal
connector
5
Undo
and
remove
the three
screws
that
secure
the wiper
motor to
the
body
The wiper
motor may now
be drawn
forwards and away from the
car

Refitting
the wmdscreen wiper
motor
IS the
reverse sequence
to
removal It may
be necessary
to adjust
the
park
position
as
described

1 Slacken both the lock plate
securing screws
for the automatIc
stop
cover
2 Soak the Windscreen In
water
and
operate
the wIper blades
for several
sweeps
Now
sWItch them off
If the blades stop
before they have finished a complete stroke
turn
the
cover

an

direction
by a
small
amount
3 Operate the
screen wIper again
several
tImes
and make
further adjustments
as
necessary

the wIper blades
complete theor full

stop on
their
return
stroke
turn

has been

two
lock plate

connections
and 11ft away
the cover
5 To
remove
the nozzles undo and
remove
the seCUring nuts
