the

the
splot

the
splot
pin and
unscrew
the nut

Carefully pull
off
the wheel
hub
assembly

removed

Undo and
remove
the
bolts
and spring washers that
secure
the brake
backplate
to
the
spindle flange

Unoo
and
remove
the
bolts
securing the
knuckle
arm to
the
spindle assembly

Undo
and
remove
the
king
pin
lock bolt
end nut

Carefully
remove
the Iottle
air
breather
from the
top
of
the
king
pin
assembly
The plug
must be
removed
next

Drill
a
0413
Inch

mm
dIameter hole
In
the
plug
and
then
screw
In
a
long
If
tappIng
screw
ThIS
WIll
draw
off
the
plug

USing
a
dnft of
SUitable

ameter to
the
top of
the
kIng
Pin
carefully drove

remove
the
lower
plug
before
emergIng

support

assembly

now
be detached
from

soft
faced
hammer

thrust
beanngs
and

wear

the
king
pin
