Conventional Cruise Control
Press the
The EyeSight display in the meter will
disappear and the Conventional Cruise
Control will turn off.
Automatic cancellation by the system
In the following cases, a buzzer sounds a single long beep and the Cruise control function is
automatically canceled.
The select lever was moved to a position other than
- The cruise control function can be used again after the lever is returned to the
position.
A paddle shift switch was operated during driving with the lever in the
- The cruise control function can be used again after the paddle shift switch will not be
operated for a while. (The shift position will return to the
Sharp mode) of SI-DRIVE is selected on turbo models).
Vehicle Dynamics Control was turned off.
- The cruise control function can be used again when Vehicle Dynamics Control is turned
back on.
X-mode is turned on. (The X-mode indicator

Vehicle speed drops to approximately 20 MPH (30 km/h) or less (due to a steep uphill
grade or some other reason).
Vehicle speed rises to approximately 100 MPH (160 km/h) or more (due to a steep down-
hill grade or some other reason).
The Vehicle Dynamics Control or Traction Control functions activate.
Any door of the driver's, front passenger's and rear doors is opened.
The driver's seatbelt is unfastened.
The parking brake is engaged (when the brake warning light illuminates).
EyeSight is malfunctioning. (Refer to page 76, "EyeSight malfunction and temporary
stop".)
The steering wheel is turned significantly in either direction.
The grade of the road is steep.
Do not use Conventional Cruise Control on slippery roads. Doing so may
result in an accident.
