Activating low power transmit by using the
Main menu

62 Operating in conventional mode
Select Menu>Radio settings>
Functions>Low power Tx.
In the Low Power Transmit
menu, choose On.
Press Select.
The message Low power
tx activated appears in the
display. When you next transmit,
the low-power transmit symbol
appears in the display and the red LED glows.
