Upon expiration
Engine/Powertrain must be put into operation or subjected to re-
preservation according to «Preservation and Depreservation» section
of this Operation Manual.
All repair operations conducted within the warranty scope, as well all
parts, components and units which have been replaced during these
operations are covered by warranty until the warranty period for the
new engine is expired.
The manufacturer's warranty obligations become void if one of
the following takes place:
 the Engine/Powertrain has been used as part of a product
which is not agreed upon with the manufacturer - «Avtodizel»
JSC (YMZ)
 the Engine/Powertrain has been operated in violation of
the rules stated in this Operation Manual;
 the scheduled maintenance at SC has not been conducted,
or has not been conducted in due time and scope as stated in this
Operation Manual and Service Book.
 self-implemented installation and replacement of the
engine/powertrain, as well as self-implemented dismantling,
disassembly and repair of the engine/powertrain, its parts and
assembly units including any alterations made in the software,
factory settings and ECU parameters;
 any engine/powertrain design modifications if not
approved by the manufacturer - «Avtodizel» JSC (YMZ);
 the manufacturer's seal on the assembly units and
components is damaged;
 the engine/powertrain has been operated with detected
non-compliance to the requirements and specifications stated in
the Operation Manual;
 the detected non-compliance occurred due to repair or
maintenance conducted at a SC which is not certified by
«Powertrain – GAZ Group» LLC.
 The warranty does not cover:
 powertrains/engines which are not manufactured by
«Avtodizel» JSC (YMZ);
 any defects occurring due to improperly conducted
maintenance (non-compliance with the requirements stated in the
Engine/Powertrain Operation Manual) or repair. The claims shall
