Note:
The sealants must be applied to cleaned and degreased surfaces.
ATTENTION! SEALANTS ARE FIRE-HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES.

CORRESPONDING SAFETY RULES. THE WORKING SPACE MUST
HAVE PROPER VENTILATION.
ENGINE PRESERVATION
AND DEPRESERVATION
1. Engine preservation is performed in order to protect the
engine interior and exterior surfaces against corrosion during
transportation and storage in the Client's warehouse by means of
applying a protective corrosion inhibitor film onto these surfaces.
2. Anti-corrosion treatment and packing must prevent engine
corrosion during storage of preserved engines in dry unheated
rooms or open-sided sheds for the time period stated in the
Specifications.
3. The room where engine preservation is conducted must meet
the following requirements:
a) the room must be dry, properly ventilated and heated;
b) the relative humidity must not exceed 70%;
c) the temperature in the room must be maintained at a level
not below 15°С. Sharp fluctuations in temperature and
humidity within 24 hours must be avoided.
d) workplace illumination must be not less than 200 lx, the
light must be diffused (frosted light bulbs, fluorescent
lamps) or reflected;
e) the room must be clean and protected against ingress of
gases and vapors that can cause corrosion.
Even short-term storage of materials that can cause corrosion
(acids, alkalies and other chemicals) is strictly prohibited.
4. The room is equipped with: a table upholstered with
viniplast, linoleum or aluminum sheets; heating devices capable
to
automatically
preservation mixture; vessels with lids to store preservation
