4. Lubricate the sealing gasket of the new filter with a few drops
of motor oil.
5. Screw the filter by hand until the filter gasket touches the
cover surface, then screw additionally (about 3/4 rev.)
6. Unscrew the plug of the vent hole 1 (Fig. 42)
7. Pump fuel manually using portable fuel pump 2.
8. Pump the fuel until the air stops coming out of the screw
plug.
9. Screw back the screw plug of the vent hole with torque 6±1
N·m (0.6±0.1 kgf·m)
10. Start the engine and check the filter for leakage.
