3.2 CONNECTING AN AUDIO SYSTEM

Physis Piano is not equipped with internal loudspeakers; therefore, loudspeakers or headphones are required.
The following pictures show connection examples.
NB
Always keep in mind to connect the devices before switching them on.
HEADPHONES
1.
Insert the stereo jack of your headphones into the audio connector, located
on the front left of the instrument, below the USB connector.
NB
Keep in mind that using headphones at a sufficiently high volume might cause hearing loss.
AMPLIFIER
1.
Insert the amplifier's mono jack into the [L/MONO] connector located on the rear panel of your Physis Piano.
2.
Insert the other end of the cable into the audio input of the amplifier.
NB
Physis Piano generates stereophonic sounds, that is, containing spatial information, for a complete listening
experience. Using a mono connection, this information will be lost, affecting negatively the resulting sound. Therefore,
we advise against mono connections.
