Managing the local contacts

The local contacts can be accessed from the Touch controller
(the Favorites list), the on-screen menu (the Local contacts
folder in the Directory) and the Web interface.
Note that only the first contact method appears in the Favorites list
*
on the Touch controller. All contact methods are available when
using the remote control.

Navigate to: Configuration > Local Contacts Management
Adding a contact
Click
Add contact
pops up. Then click
in the Favorites list / Local contacts.
followed by
Change the details in the form
as appropriate and click Save.

entry from the Favorites list /

and fill in the form that

to store the contact
Editing contact details
Click a contacts name
Edit
contact.
Deleting a contact
Click a contacts name
Edit
contact. Then
Delete
to remove the
Local contacts.

Setting passwords
Import/Export contacts from file
Click
Export
to save the Local contacts in a file;
and click
Import
to bring in contacts from a file.
Note that all current contacts will be discarded
when importing new contacts from a file.
Storing a contact in a folder
Choose the appropriate folder
from the drop down list.
No folder means that the contact
will be stored at the top level.
Adding a contact method*
You can store more than one
contact method for each contact,
e.g. video, telephone and mobile.
