LED control panel
The LEDs flash in a specific pattern and with a specific
rhythm in the LED control panel. This indicates the cause
of the problem and makes it easier for you to find a solu-
tion.
DISPLAY
All battery charge state LEDs and all
power-assist mode LEDs flash alter-
nately.
First all battery charge state LEDs flash
twice and then all power-assist mode
LEDs flash once.
The currently selected power-assist
mode LED flashes slowly (at 0.5 Hz).
The currently selected power-assist
mode LED flashes quickly (at 2 Hz).
The lowest battery charge state LED
flashes quickly (at 2 Hz)
The currently selected power-assist
mode LED flashes three times very
quickly.
All battery charge state LEDs flash once
per second.

CAUSE
No power assist. The power sensor could
not set itself correctly.
No power assist. A problem occurred in
the drive unit.
The motor output is less.
The motor is overloaded.
The motor switches off.
The motor is extremely overloaded.
No power assist.
The battery is nearly empty.
Speed sensor defective. The motor only
provides emergency assistance.
Communication error between the bat-
tery, motor and display.
SOLUTION
Perform restart. The system performs
the calibration again. No force should be
applied to the pedals during this proce-
dure which takes roughly two seconds.
Motor, sensor unit or cable defective.
Contact your specialist cycle shop.
Allow the motor to cool down and reduce
the assistance.

Charge the battery immediately.
Check that the speed sensor is in the correct
position on the rear wheel.
