7.6.2.8 Power & Battery
Test equipment: AC Adaptor and Charger.
Purpose: Verify the adaptor slot, charge function, and battery life sense function.
Test Method:
When enter this test item, system will show the correct power status as following:
1. Charger plugs in : Yes / No
2. Charging: Yes / No
3. Correct Main battery voltage and current
4. Charging mode or Discharging mode.
5. How much percentage of power was left
6. External battery voltage and current.
7. Backup battery voltage.
--- Provide for Power test as below:
1. If test is OK, system will show the correct information about power status on message display area.
2. If test failed, system will show the error message with red color on message display area. You can refer the
error message to check which part cause it failed.
7.6.2.9 Run in test
Test equipment: none
Purpose: It only supports cold boot. Test item "Display", "RAM", "audio", "RTC" and "CPU" automatically and
count time.
Test Method: Above-mentioned items test automatically as in chapter 3.2.1.2 、 3.2.1.6 、 3.2.1.8 、 3.2.1.9
&3.2.1.D and the total time is shown on the top of the PDA.
